Voting Information

Early Voting, Same Day Registration October 18 ­ November 4

You must be registered to vote in Chatham County to vote in the Pittsboro municipal election. Thanks to a new law, you can register and vote at the same time during the early voting period October 18­November 4.

You may register and vote at the County Board of Elections, 984 Thompson Street located in the Platinum Square office complex on U.S. 64 Business (East Street) across from the U.S. Post Office.

Election Day Nov. 6 (Register by October 12)

If you prefer to vote on election day, be sure to register to vote in Chatham by October 12, at the County Board of Elections in Pittsboro (see above).

On election day Nov. 6 you may vote at Central Carolina Community College, on U.S. 64 Business (West Street), west of the courthouse circle , west of the traffic light at Al's Diner.

Poll Hours: 6:30 A.M. to 7:30 P.M.
